I added black pepper to her dish. Definitely no salt into her dishes at home, but I'm venturing into herbs and spices

This entry is a tribute to my late baby Adam who was born December 20th 2006 at 8.49pm (29th Zulqaedah). May you play happily in heaven, my dear son. 2 years ago, I held you briefly in my arms and I will reunite with you in hereafter.
And of course my darling daughter is also a December baby.

* she had rashes with fresh (cow's) milk upon contact with skin
**shudder** what would happen if she drank it?
Well, at least she can take cereal with fresh goat's milk.

Can't remember what I cooked, but the main thing was the steamed fish wasn't well received (versus grilled)
So I made it into omelette instead.
- 1 medium egg
- 2 oz french beans - steamed till soft
- 2 oz sole fish - steamed and flaked

~ had stewed the beef prior, with cinnamon stick, cardamon and clove
~ thought Arianna should taste our qurban meat for a change
This was super fast dish:
- stewed beef
- quinoa noodles (we were having mee rebus that day - ran out of spaghetti)
- spinach (our dish of sayur air)
Remembered that she wanted to feed herself, so another dish was made:
- stewed beef
- spiral pasta
- tomato

We are hoping she is outgrowing her CMPA (cow's milk protein allergy). We had success with cheese.
Last week, we went to The Gardens, found fresh goat's milk at Cold Storage. She was okay with it, so we bought another bottle at Cold Storage, One Utama.
No pics, but we gave her gelato today. She had a few scoops, and made faces. But otherwise she's okay, no diarrhoea, no vomiting.
We ate at Sakae today (where else?!). They ran out of green tea?! (we'll never visit OU outlet again, better service in The Curve, Bangsar Village!) She had 3 plates today: cucumber maki, tamago sushi, tofu sushi.

Ingredients:3 oz potato - cubed
2.5 oz red snapper
4 oz broccoli
Method:Cook the cubed potato
Add in the broccoli
Add in the fish last (cooked too long, it'll turn rubbery)
~ LO was gassy with sweet potato/ yam, so I've excluded potato for a long time
~ We're okay with bread, pasta and rice. Potato is another common carbo (thinking about Ikea)

Salmon Rice with Grilled Sole
Ingredients:sole fish fillet
3 oz rice - sooked
3 oz broccoli
2 oz salmon
1 momotaro tomato
Method:Grill or panfry the fish - ensuring fish is fully cooked
Cook salmon with tomato
Add in broccoli and cook till soft
Mix in rice
Serve warm with grilled fish
* uncooked fish is big no-no.. unlike mom who loves sashimi
* she hates the salmon rice. Mustn't get salmon from Village Grocer. Isetan has fresher/better smelling fish.

Tofu with MeatIngredients:2 oz tofu
2 oz meat
2 oz broccoli
3 oz mixed vegetables
3 oz rice - cooked
1 clove of garlic
olive oil
Method:
Heat a little bit of oil and fry the garlic
Add the meat, tofu, veggies
Once all fully cooked, mix in the rice
~ of course had to be an easy meal, was late for work. Cooked at around 6.30 am, while eating breakfast
Tofu with Cod Ingredients:2 oz tofu
2.5 oz cod
2 oz broccoli
2 oz french beans
3 oz of rice - cooked
Method:
Cook the cod and tofu with just enough water
Steam the broccoli and french beans (or just cook it together with fish and tofu)
When everything is cooked, vegies are tender, just mix with the rice
~ it's so easy to just mix everything together, rather than serving it separately
~ why? coz PIL already has to quickly feed her during lunchtime. LO is too busy to waste much time at the dining table - so many places to go, so many things to touch and feel! Different when parents are home though.

Since she has turned one, I'm more adventurous. All these while she has been fed with homemade food, now probably it's time to have some from mommy's plate. But wait, she did have a little bit of my sushi 2 months back. Let's see what she has had before:
- rice cracker (Japanese stores)
- cheerios (General Mills)
- froot loops (Kellogg's)
- sushi (only the rice, without the topping la)
- corn flakes
- spaghetti bolognese
- buns (those without milk/milk powder ingredients)
Hehe mom's naughty... just shy of her one year mark, I tried:
- taufu fa (of course without the sugar)
- Starbuck's scone
- Starbuck's Xmas sandwich (wholewheat bread, little cranberries mayo, chicken)
I have few more recipes, more elaborate because I felt guilty of giving her bland food during her illness. But I've been sick as well, so I haven't been up at night. No midnight pumping/cooking. Thank God I'm on annual leave. Will upload soon and update the blog.
* note to self: no soy lecithin allergy! Yippee can use the olive oil spread
* another note: currently waiting if she has any reaction to cheese scrambled egg she had for breakfast

So she hates her meds, mommy hates them too... she gets moody if forced. She went for couple hours of nursing strike yesterday, all because she had to be nebulised. Dr. Eric heard no rhonchi, but prolonged expiratory sounds *sigh*.
Mom had asthma , with 1 parents with atopy condition: 40% chance
Dad has eczema - with both parents with different atopy, her chances are raised to 40-60%
If both parents have same atopy - 50-80% chances
Now, she has new sets of med:
- salbutamol syrup "Ventolin"
- salbutamol MDI (used with aerochamber)
- montelukast granules "Singulair"
- dexchlorpheniramine syrup "Polaramine"
